About Me
My name is John Van Ride, born in Tirana, Albania. I started my music journey in Greece, where I studied saxophone and later began performing as a DJ in 2000. After many years behind the decks, I returned to Albania and focused on music production and songwriting, working with well-known artists and labels like Café De Anatolia.
Today, I perform both as a solo DJ and as part of my live-electronic group Johkoba, blending deep, progressive, and afro-house with live instruments and unique atmospheres. Music remains my passion, both on stage and in the studio.
