About Me
My name is John Van Ride, born in Tirana, Albania. I started my music journey in Greece, where I studied saxophone and later began performing as a DJ in 2000. After many years behind the decks, I returned to Albania and focused on music production and songwriting, working with well-known artists and labels like Café De Anatolia.
Today, I perform both as a solo DJ and as part of my live-electronic group Johkoba, blending deep, progressive, and afro-house with live instruments and unique atmospheres. Music remains my passion, both on stage and in the studio.

John Van Ride combines his talents both on stage and in the studio. As a live performer, he delivers dynamic DJ sets and immersive shows with his group Johkoba, blending electronic beats with live instruments for a unique experience.
In the studio, John focuses on producing original tracks and collaborating with artists, crafting music that spans deep-house, progressive-house, and afro-house. His dual approach allows him to connect with audiences worldwide through both performance and production.

John Van Ride is a music producer, DJ, and founder of JVRMusic, known for crafting immersive electronic journeys. As the visionary behind Johkoba, a four-member experimental collective, he blends live instruments with digital soundscapes, building performances that are both intimate and powerful. His work spans across genres and collaborations, always rooted in emotion, innovation, and raw energy. From clubs to conceptual shows, the mission stays the same: sound as experience.
Temprix
Temprix is an electronic music duo formed by John Van Ride and Boocca.
With years of experience in the electronic music scene as a producer and DJ, John Van Ride is the founder of the Temprix duo. He invited artist Boocca to join his studio, JVRMusic, where they began collaborating on new and forward-thinking productions.
Boocca is an emerging electronic music artist who has worked closely with John Van Ride in the studio for nearly five years, contributing to the development of their shared musical identity.
Together as Temprix, they have shaped a distinctive sound blending Afro Tech, Afro House, and Melodic House, delivered through a progressive and immersive musical approach. Their philosophy is simple:
“Music should be felt, not only heard.”
